Cloud Computing Conferences

From a personal point of view I have to say I find the idea of a cloud computing conference a bit of an anathema – something that goes against the whole idea of ‘the cloud’.

Having said that I would make two exceptions: Vendor cloud computing conferences, on the grounds that they may provide users the opportunity to get to the minute details of a particular product; and ‘evangelical’ or ‘strategic’ cloud computing conferences, where the subjects are finance, adoption and support of cloud computing strategies, rather than the technogies and products.
